Becky Lynch comments on AEW's women's division *has Raw spoilers*

During an at least partially in-character media appearance, Becky Lynch took a shot at the AEW women's division and the way women in AEW are represented.

Lynch appeared on Drew Garabo Live on Monday to promote WWE's house show in Lakeland, Florida this Saturday. When asked if women at "that other place" motivate her to raise the bar even more, Lynch said the AEW women's division isn't represented in the way that women in WWE are -- and they don't get as much time as women in WWE. Lynch said that, frankly, the AEW women's division isn't as good as WWE's.

“I wish I could say yes, but, unfortunately, I don’t think they’re represented the way that we are. They don’t get as much time as we get. And they’re not -- frankly, they’re not as good as we are," Lynch said.

“We have, certainly on Raw, we have the best women’s division in the world. In the world. And I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world. And, yeah, competition is great, and it’s great for there to be another place. And I have a very good friend, Ruby Soho, over there, and I would love to see her as champion one day. I would love to see her getting the spotlight that she deserves. Competition is always great. But over here, we’re just on another level right now, man. We’re on another level.”

Lynch returned to Raw last night, appearing on the show for the first time since losing the Raw Women's Championship to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38. A feud between Lynch and the returning Asuka started on last night's show.

Becky, Ronda, and the other one main evented WrestleMania, also Ronda and the other one and Sasha and Bianca so on that note it'd be impossible to say the AEW women are getting billed to the same level. , Britt was one of the featured parts of the shows for like a year, and Jade is currently getting a really nice push as well. Division is clearly much more shallow.

That being said....both companies womens talent are nnowhere near as good enough to compare to each other.

I took a gamble on reading the comments on Reddit about this and was actually surprised. So many "I'm an AEW fan and she's not wrong" comments. I can't speak on the actual womens product of AEW myself but it's easily the biggest complaint I see their fans bringing up over and over again.

I mean. I sort of agree here. The women are featured better in WWE for sure. I wouldn’t agree it’s the BEST but she’s not entirely wrong on some of this.

I mean I didn't know if she believed that or if she was in Character way too much for that Interview. What else is she suppose to say yeah we suck over here and they are better wished she would of said they are at our level and it's beautiful to see but that is Babyface Becky. For sure WWE puts the ladies in Main Events of Mania but you can't tell me and I watch probably more Women's Wrestling than most that WWE had alot of note worthy moments whether inside the Ring or things leading up to the Matches vs AEW this Year where it felt like that the majority of stuff was great and growing by the Week it feels like in my opinion. Let's be honest though neither are on the level of Stardom when it comes to Women's Wrestling yeah I said it

Stardom is a different level - shame most people dont even know what top tier women's wrestling looks like

Queen’s Crown sucked. But I mean that doesn’t make Becky completely wrong here. She’s not 100% right either. Some stuff she’s right about some of it she’s wrong about.
