I can't speak for Montana but I can say that the bears in Northern BC where I live, they are getting more aggressive and predatory towards humans.

But it's obviously because of the lack of food sources from deforestation due to over fishing, logging, mining and pipelines and not to mention the fires that have been a yearly occasions.

I've seen more bears going into towns and cities looking for food last year than I've ever seen in my lifetime.

I’m not sure what people expect going in to bear country. I thinks it’s sad that they go out and shoot the animal….people take away their habitats, they deserve to eat every one of us.

Of course it sucks that she lost her life.. but they took the risk to go camp where there are bears. That's a "oh, hell no" from me. lol
