Battle of the (There It Is)

In early 1993 something very odd happened in music in the US. 95 South released a song called Whoot, There It Is in March and just over a month later Tag Team released a song called Whoomp! (There It Is). They almost share the same chorus yet are two completely different original songs. They were both successful songs but in the end Whoomp! became the bigger hit and is probably the best known. Here are both songs below;

What I wanted to find out was what song WS members prefer? Are you a Whooter or a Whoomper?

For me I have to go with Whoomp! (There It Is). I didn't even know the other song existed until a month or two back when I was reading the wikipedia page of Whoomp! Prefer the flow and verses of Whoomp. It is tough though because I like both songs plus Whoot has a guy that both looks and sounds like Dave Chappelle.

Always preferred the 95 South version myself more gritty and not so Disney-ish imo, but you play Tag Team at any party with children of the 90s and they will lose their shit.
