Batista's Expected WWE Ring Return

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Raw star Batista will most likely be returning to the ring sometime in June following the December 26th surgery he received to repair a hamstring tear. The Animal's operation in Birmingham, AL was a success, and barring any complications he should be cleared to return to the ring in late June.

Thank god he isn't going to be a part of WrestleMania this year. His contract expires early July, right?

I'm thinking he may retire. He said about a year ago "I want to retire in a few years", probably meaning 2-3. Now, with surgery, he may justc all it quits instead of trying to go on for another year. He is already 40.
One can hope, anyways.

I kinda doubt it. While I don't know the man personally, many wrestlers over the years have had a real hard time letting the business go. Undertaker said the same thing back in '04 (the return to the original Undertaker (@ Mania 20) was just going to be a short run before retiring). I'm betting he'll come back, sadly.

lol, if he did retire now he would be like, the only guy to have beaten Cena in singles action without Batista beating him. And Batista owned him in the rumble 2005. But he won't be retiring imo

Good to see he's out for quite sometime, I don't think he will be making a quick ass Cena return either in like, a third of the time he's meant to be out. This makes wrestling much more interesting
