I can definitely see where he's coming from when it comes to being frustrated with creative, but on one hand he says he wanted to return as a heel, and on the other says that he was promised things that weren't given to him, i.e. a direct reference to him being promised a WWE Championship reign, even though it would have only made sense to receive that as a babyface at that time...? WTF

I also can't agree that he was necessarily directionless when he came back. Even after the Mania title push fell through, him reuniting with Evolution to battle The Shield was a pretty good and logical storyline, and one that people had been fantasizing about since The Shield started running roughshod over everybody in late 2012/early 2013. I actually said myself back in the day that if Batista returned to reunite Evolution with Hunter and Orton to try and take down The Shield as babyfaces at Wrestlemania 29, it would have been an awesome feud and match.

All and all though, Batista seems like a pretty cool and articulate dude outside of wrestling. I wouldn't mind seeing him return again on the right terms. A Brock vs Batista program would be welcomed.

I enjoyed him in WWE because he knew how to piss people off. I always assumed he was a jack off in real life and the more I hear him tak and see him away from WWE, you can see he is a real chill dude.

Dave seems like a cool dude. I kinda miss him, and even though I don't really care about his wrestling, his heel runs are usually good. Good to know he's happy without WWE, too.

Also, the interviewer, Chris Van Vilet is a pro and I'm diggin' his work!
