This film was a bit of a mixed bag (no pun intended!) but I mostly leaned towards enjoying it. The characters were pretty frustrating but the acting itself was pretty good, especially by the lead Freya Allan. So it balanced itself out. The premise was great and creepy enough. The creature had a cool backstory and I enjoyed the shapeshifting parts. This film gave me a similar vibe to Talk to Me where they mess around too much with the dead and it gets progressively worst. All in all, it was a fun time with some good scares in there. Just be mindful that it has its fair share of flaws too, but I am pretty used to that with most horror that comes out.
