Backstage Reasons Why Highlight Reel Sucked

Monday night’s edition of the Highlight Reel on RAW did not go well and WWE let the fans at home know it as Michel Cole and Jerry Lawler buried the segment.

On air, Cole and Lawler were heard laughing, stating how bad the segment was and asking when it would end so they could go to commercial.

A reason that the Highlight Reel segment on Monday’s RAW didn’t go as planned was due to a technical malfunction with the Jeritron 6000 throwing off the timing of the skit.

The Jeritron was in the ring, but wasn’t functioning, so the ring crew quickly unplugged and then removed it from the ring while the trailer for The Marine 3 played. Jericho then had to improvise around that to explain why the screen was gone.

The crew did try to get the screen to work, but ultimately it just ended up laying on the floor. During the trailer for Wade Barrett’s movie, Jericho joked around and gave the technical guys a hard time.

I don't think the Jeritron not being there made the segment suck, lol.

Gotta say that was a serious clusterfuck of a segment. Especially when Maddox asked for the Jeritron 6000 to be taken away, while it was already gone.

Yeah, sounds like a good reason. Then Maddox coming out with his already awkward character just made things a bit worse.

When Maddox says stupid things, like asking for the Jeritron to be taken away in this instance, is he for real or is he just trolling? Surely he can't be that much of a moron. I actually find it funny when he mucks about like that, so hope he's just pissing about.
