WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman reportedly gave input into the early part of the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match on Sunday.

The producers of Sunday's 30-Man Rumble were Shane McMahon, Chris Park (Abyss), Jamie Noble, and Lance Storm, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Lesnar and Heyman then had input regarding the early part of the match, presumably where Lesnar dominated.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was heavily involved in the finishing sequence of the Rumble, and made the final call on Drew McIntyre winning, and the final call on the sequence with Drew eliminating Roman Reigns last.

Regarding the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, that was put together by Adam Pearce, Tyson Kidd, Mickie James and WWE Hall of Famer Michael "PS" Hayes. Triple H had input into that match on the day of the show, to help out and make the match flow better.

That's pretty cool hearing about Mickie having input in the Womens Rumble. I knew she had those 1 or 2 appearances on Main Event, commentating but I figured outside of that she was just recovering from injury.

I thought Roman was Vince's boy, yet Vince made the decision not to give Roman the Rumble win :lmao

If it was Brock's own idea to have him make the first half of the Rumble boring as shit, then he needs to stop giving input lmao.

Vince delivering the most heralded part of the Rumble......and here I hearing he was out of touch and shit.

I'm guessing Lesnar had input on the parts he was most animated for.

That Rumble was one of the most entertaining I've ever seen in part BECAUSE of the stark difference between the two halves of the match IMO so LET BROCK BOOK MORE :mark:

I thought that was one of the best rumble matches in recent years. Brock dominating, Drew going over Reigns,Edge returns, booked to perfection.

The first half of the Rumble was fucking great. Better than how 90% of Rumbles start off imo.

I was a little annoyed that some people didn't last longer like JoMo, but Drew finally eliminating him or even Keith Lee and Kofi making it longer than two minutes wouldn't have been nearly as good of moments without the domination before. Much better than the random comedy shit and guys laying around until they can get spots in like most Rumbles. Now I don't want to see shit like this EVERY year, but for this year it was fuckin' awesome.

Exactly. Rumbles tend to be very paint by numbers. When you get something like this, or CM Punk cutting a promo between eliminations, it really makes for great entertainment. I could have gone for Keith Lee and Kofi lasting a bit longer but some fan favorites had to be sacrificed to make the elimination that much sweeter.

And hopefully the showdown with Lee was a just a little sample of a future match up.

Brock out here auditioning for life after wrestling :proud

Vince made the right call going with Drew. Made him a star in one night. Roman gotta be in the final 2 of every Rumble to make sure the person that wins get a huge pop.

I think Roman has already beat Big Show's record of most Rumble runner-up appearances and he wasn't even the runner-up in 2016 when he lost the belt like most people would have guessed :lmao

I'm sorry if I don't find watching Brock destroy people entertaining lol.

Loved Drew eliminating him and the second half of the Rumble though.

Runner up in the last 3 rumbles he’s been in

2017
2018
2020

And was also the runner up in 2014.

As long as people have the “anyone but Roman” mentality every Rumble season, he’ll be the last one in so the winner gets a positive reaction.
