- Vince McMahon is said to be on a youth kick right now and up for pushing the younger talents in WWE. One veteran who is being affected by this is Finlay. Besides working the occasional live event match, Finlay's role with the company from here on out will be mainly working backstage.

Thank god. I was glad to not have seen him in months, and now I am even happier knowing I won't be seeing him at all now. Unless they reunite him with that little shit on SD! now.

Good stuff. The only other role I can see him doing is being a manager for Sheamus.

(oddly enough, I could see that working....)

Bullshit. He was fucking awesome in 2006. He's the only guy who can even challenge Benoit in terms of intensity.

He's an ok heel, mostly because he doesn't have that stupid happy Irish music. He didn't really make that big of an impact as a wrestler so this doesn't matter tbh

Do you guys think him as a manager for Sheamus would work? I know it's not really related to the topic, but I could see it.

I agree, I really liked Finlay, especially before the whole little bastard deal. "My name is Finlay and I love to fight."

Finlay is a fucking beast. He was like a 40 something year old tough Irish prick training the new guys. Vince gave him a spot on SD! and he ran with it. He had some success for a guy who was just put there to take up some space. He was always solid in the ring, could outwork 80% of the roster and 100% of the young talent. He was awesome and a different look to boot. At least he can go back to training guys. He taught Cena, Batista and Lesnar to name a few.

Yeah, now that some of the established guys are leaving, either temporarily or permanently, Vince is scrambling to make something of the new crop and build future stars. Only there's little to build them with.

Nice long term planning there, Vinnie Mac.
