Despite the fans apparent lack of interest in the direction of Sheamus, a source revealed WWE has plans to continue with Sheamus as a babyface for the time being. Vince McMahon is said to be high on Sheamus as a face and wants him to remain a face. The creative team are tweaking his character with the belief that once they find the right fit for him, he will become a top face in the company. There are rumblings of some disagreeing.

Sheamus has a character? My main gripe with Sheamus has always been his distinct lack of character since the end of the Celtic warrior gimmick.

I don't know how far they can get away from the Great White, Celtic Warrior, Irish brawler gimmick. With how they book him, it's going to take a miracle to get a new gimmick that fits him.

His character is pretty one-dimensional and boring too. He could work as a face if they didn't book wrestlers as faces or heels instead of their actual characters.

He is an Irish fighter fella. Arse!

No but seriously, I've noticed them at least trying w/ Sheamus. Whereas other top babyfaces tend to walk the line of 80s superhero faces, Sheamus has had a bit of an edge to him in this Henry feud, at least. I don't hate Sheamus nearly as much as most do, and I can honestly say I've enjoyed the Henry/Sheamus stuff and am looking forward to the match.

It must have hurt you inside posting this Crayo. Gave you an aneurysm on top of a broken heart.
