Regarding WWE wanting Kurt Angle to only work a full time deal, word is that it was Triple H's decision to offer Angle that deal. WWE was not interested in bringing Angle in under a part-time deal.

The feeling is that TNA is offering Angle a part-time deal and Angle will be staying with them for at least another year.

Angle also reportedly wants to focus on expanding his acting career in the next year. Angle is headed to Los Angeles soon for meetings and auditions.
Fuck this if it's true, I really wanted the dude the back on a limited schedule like plenty of the other guys are on. Would have marked so hard like a bitch if his music hit as a surprise entrant in the Rumble.

I could understand the decision to not to sign him if it was due to budget reasons but that seems to not be the case. Should have at least brought him in for all the pre-contract medial stuff first and then go from there.

What does he even do in TNA?

Haven't heard anything about him since his feud with Jarrett few years ago.

Been out injured for quite a while I believe but I think he's like the GM now.

I think Triple H had the right idea on this one. For one or two big feuds and maybe a HOF run Angle can be of use, anything more would be overkill and not suitable for either side.

So you're basically advocating a part-time deal yet praise HHH for offering him a full time deal?

Triple H scared him off if true for 3 reasons

1 - Kurt by most tellings of it all tried to go around him in negotiations where Sting, Brock, warrior, RVD, and Jericho deal with him. That's disrespect

2 - no desire to read a headline that says wwe star found dead in hotel or arrested for a Cui

3 - hall of fame talent sure but crazy as crazy gets, and his market for drawing isn't big enough to offset it on a part time scale. He's no brock or rock who can come in a sell a big main event then disappear, and he has way too big an ego to come in like jericho and rvd do to be Midcard fodder

Kurt only benefits the company by working in nxt, on a legends deal like hulk, or signing up for a full tilt 1 year run

For the love of God, sign the damn deal and finish off this Rusev feud. There isn't a better scenario for your return, Kurt.

WWE wouldn't even think of offering him a full-time deal.....too much risk against reward.

This story seems like a "leak" to show TNA that Kurt has feelers.

Well maybe I misread the first post, but to me that reads like HHH was the one offering Kurt the part-time deal. I did find it odd that WWE would entertain the idea of a full-time deal.

Ok skip just read it again and it makes a bit sense now.
