As noted, WWE pulled WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar from next Monday's Slammy Awards RAW and now have him scheduled to return on the post-TLC RAW on December 15th.
WWE originally had Lesnar booked for the Slammys because they felt he was needed since he will likely be up for a few awards. However, he was pulled because it's the go-home show for TLC and and he ended up not booked for the pay-per-view. Essentially WWE didn't want to waste one of Lesnar's dates. It appear the Lesnar changes were a late decision.

Regarding future plans for Lesnar, we noted that he is booked for the post-WrestleMania 31 RAW in San Jose. That is believed to be Lesnar's final scheduled event on this current contract.

They should've totally had him come back on next week's Slammy Awards RAW episode, it'd make the episode that much better with the WWE-WHC being around again. But, oh well...

I agree with him not having to be there. Him breaking the Streak should most certainly win the award for The Biggest Shocker Of 2014 (or whatever the official name for the award is), but if winning that and maybe one other award is it, then it would be fine to just have Paul Heyman accept the awards for Brock instead and save themselves the money of not having him be there.
