The Wrestling Observer is reporting that despite people within TNA acting as if everything is fine with Hulk Hogan making a deal with 2K Sports to appear in WWE 2K14, many in the company took the move as a "slap in the face of TNA." The newsletter also noted that Hogan's contract may be expiring in a few months, however that is not certain. Hogan was not at the last pair of Impact Wrestling tapings as a cost saving measure, but will be returning at this Thursday's taping in Cleveland, OH.

It's funny how Hogan will just be on the WWE game while casually being under TNA contract. But yeah, he does nothing there and is very expensive, they should let him go.

I understand the IWC hates Hogan, but that is Blue to say he does nothing. He is constantly the most over guy with any TNA crowd and I'm sure he sells as much merch as anyone besides maybe Hardy.

I particularly don't hate Hogan, for me he's just there (and I like his theme). But I really don't think he draws in a lot of ratings, on merchandise and possibly attendance you're right, but I'm really not sure it's worth what he's reported to earn.

Nobody draws ratings to TNA except Hogan, truly. Their massive 1.5 was all his doing.

Yep, it was all his doing indeed, but that was just a one-time nostalgia pop. The appeal of Hogan surely isn't the same that it was so long ago.

I don't want Hogan in TNA anymore than the rest of you, but he still consistently gets more reaction from crowds than anyone else. It really isn't even close, sadly.

Sadly the only person who comes closes consistently is Sting, shame really as Aries could have been in that region too.

We just can't forget the reactions Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle always get, no matter where they go. Hogan, Sting, Hardy, Angle - the always get reactions.

Honorable mentions to Austin Aries, Bully Ray, Bad Influence, James Storm and logically Chavo Guerrero - the nephew of late Eddie Guerrero.

Jeff and Kurt rarely outpop or come close to H2 or Sting sadly, theyre over but not on that level. Oddly enough Samoa Joe came close for a while, arenas were buzzing with Joes gonna kill you chants for around a month after they started on the road but those seem to have slowed.
