One week ago*welterweight contender Jon Fitch was forced out of a UFC 132 scheduled rematch with B.J. Penn due to a shoulder injury.

Now, B.J. Penn has also withdrawn from the card scheduled for July 2 in Las Vegas.

Multiple news sources have indicated Penn suffered an undisclosed injury. A report on BJPenn.com states details surrounding his removal from the card will be made available sometime today.

Stay close to ProMMAnow.com for an update on Penn’s condition.

UFC 132, which will take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena and air LIVE on Pay-Per-View, will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight with Dominick Cruz defending his crown against former featherweight champ Urijah Faber.
