Awesome Entrance Themes #3: Hulk Hogan

I don't think anyone could create a list of the greatest wrestling themes of all time without including Real American. This is easily the most recognisable wrestling theme from an era of exceptionally good wrestling themes and, regardless of my personal opinions of Hogan as a person or a wrestler, this always turns the nostalgia dial up to 12 and gets me excited for pro wrestling.

In our previous Awesome Entrance Theme, Kurt Angles TNA theme scored a 7.5. Where do you rate this one?

I'd give Real American a 9. It's iconic for sure and a good song in it's own right, perfect for Hulk. I think the only thing keeping it from getting a 10 really is just that I'd rank other theme songs higher.

Also idk if I'm in the minority but I thought American Made was pretty good too....and Voodoo Child is obviously Hulk's best theme ever. That'd get a 10 for sure.

Real American is a staple whenever I do an 80s themed party or playlist. It’s timeless. I give it a fuckin 10!

I agree with everything Chris said pretty much. It's a great theme song, I don't even care for that era of Hogan or that gimmick for that matter, but it's a great theme song. I gotta give it a 8.5.

I agree that Voodoo Child would get a 10.

It's a 10 in my eyes and this coming for a person who wasn't a Hogan guy at that time, rather a Savage and Warrior fan. Hogan to this day one of the most remembered talents, even from people who don't know Wrestling, they know who Hogan is. WE need a Leg Drop towards this Coronavirus for real.
