I was there back in the day at the start of the attitude Era but never really watched it through.

Now I am.

I have just watched the 1st epidose of Smackdown and the Raw after that. I have been enjoying the storylines and stuff of the AE so I am wondering. DO I need to watch both Smackdown and RAW to follow the era.

I think you'd get away with just watching RAW...Its all I could watch
during the Attitude Era. I remember if anything really big went down
on Smackdown they'd show a replay on RAW.

Smackdown back then actually mattered and had some great moments and matches so I would suggest to watch both

Up to the Over the Edge PPV 1999.

THis is the 1st time as a fan of Wrestling I have been able to follow the weekly show and the PPVs reliably. Back in the day you tended to have the choice of one or the other as only the big 4 PPVs got here on VHS along with some of the others and/or WWF was not on public TV.

It's the greatest. 99-01 were the best.
