Quite a fun movie with solid performances, Jennifer Lopez was good and I enjoyed her character. It's not anything groundbreaking or trying to win any awards but I enjoyed it. I'm easily sold when it comes to anything Sci-Fi related and I thought this had some cool moments overall and I really liked the special effects and futuristic visuals. The premise was fun with an intruiguing villain and backstory. There's plenty of enjoyment to be had with it and the action sequences were great, I thought. The Titanfall vibes were cool too, apparently it was inspired by the games and I could definitely feel that watching it with the big mechs. Certainly don't think it's deserving of such a low critic score, I think it sets out what it wants to do quite well and is well executed of a concept. Fun popcorn type flick and that's all I really expected from it.
