The idea of getting drunk and/or getting high never appealed to me. I have family members and friends who do both and I have always hated seeing how they are when they're in that state. I also find it hard to understand how making yourself physically/mentally impaired in any way can be fun, funny, useful or relaxing. Plus, all alcohol/liquor smell like shit to me.

But hey, everyone's free to do whatever they want.

Him being Straight Edge is part of it, but it's more so because he inspired me to do a lot of things, and still does. And yes, he's a huge asshole, but he will be the first one to tell you he is. He owns it, which is more than a lot of people will ever do. It's part of the reason I like the guy as well. He's pretty chill.
