– WILD Wrestling, whose current champion is TNA Knockout Winter, has announced that former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro has agreed to join the women’s wrestling promotion. However, she won’t be stepping into the squared circle just yet.
“Ms. Massaro will hold a different position in WILD until she feels the time is right to re-enter the ring. Although it is unclear what role she will play in the World Independent Ladies’ Division, Mr. Leland has told us that she is indeed a member of our organization,” according to the statement released.
The winner of the 2005 Diva Search announced Sunday on Twitter that she was aspiring to wrestle again once she is properly trained. This led to WILD Owner Travis Leland getting in contact with her and coming to terms on an agreement.
