Artist of the Week 1: Wiz Khalifa

So.... Every Friday I am thinking of doing this if I have time, and I make a thread talking about a certain artist of the week. Tell me if you like this or not, and will post some of my favorite songs of his. This week it is Wiz Khalifa.

Wiz Khalifa is someone who has rocked the whole world of music and that is a fact. Most of you only heard one song by him and that is Black and Yellow. Reason why I chose him is because he is coming out with a new album soon and it should be good. No but you guys should all check out some his new stuff and some old. Songs I recommend if your a first time listener.

Wiz is pretty damn good, I've been listening to him since 09 when I picked up Boarding Pass off a mixtape. His mixtape stuff is awesome and can't put it over enough.

Yeah here are some songs that I like it is a mixture of what he can do.

Funnily enough he has just started to chart here in Australia. His song Black and Yellow is catchy and I like his sound. I will have to listen to some more of his work.

Checked more of his new stuff the past week, most of it mixtapes and the majority of his new album and realized he was like Ya Boy and couldn't do a song that didn't have to deal with bitches, money and weed. And I don't like internet rappers who boast about having money, since they are giving their shit away for free and are not making a dime. Totally just screams phony, and in a genre that is all about credibility, I find it lame. He got boring fast, you listen to one song, you've heard em all.

Good rappers change it up, and this is why the best ones are still over 40. These new jacks ain't shit, and it's a big reminder of why rap is reeking of cheesiness that hasn't been seen since Glam Rock.
