Finally it seems a role which suits Russell Brand and gives a little more to do reather than just play himself bascially. For those who don't know this is the remake of the classic 1981 comedy with Dudly Moore in the lead role, as a drunken millionaire who is basically set to merry another rich person, but over the course of the film matures and finds true love.
In the case of this film Arthur is split between Jennifer Garner and the more likeable character played by Greta Gerwig [who was excellent in Greenberg, even if I was not a fan of the film], you also have Helen Mirren as the up tight nanny whose job it is to look after him. The reviews have not been kind, and certainly it is tall order to live up to the orignal, which is very funny, and sweet in places too, but I think out of the recent remakes this one makes more sense, and might be decent.
