Aries partner for their Tag Title match

Austin Aries and Bryan Danielson are still scheduled to challenge The Briscoes 9-14. Odds are Danielson won't be able to wrestle. So who will be choosen to be Aries partner. Obvisous choice would be Erick Stevens, or will Danielson choose a partner for his shot? Austin Aries and Quackenbush would be a great combo. Im assuming this is the main event, so his partner will likely be a big name.

Defiantly Quackenbush; it would be a great match, so yeah Quack would be my pick.

i dont know this quackenbush guy..hope he's a good wrestler..the briscoe's r good tag team champions,so aries better choose his partner by himself rather than making danielson think about it..

There was a odd storyline where danielson's team won a 4 on 4 challenge, and danielson kept the money, so technically this was danielson shot, and if they lost, Aries would give up his share of the money that danielson never paid him. But they don't get into this storyline much.

Well, Sydal was also a part of that team so it would make sense if he were to replace Danielson, but with Matt either signing or being close to signing a WWE contract, I don't know if he could work the show.

My guess is Quackenbush so he can take part in a high-profile match, but its more than just finding a replacement. With Bryan and Aries you really thought they had a chance at beating the Briscoes, now without Danielson in the match some of the drama and intrigue is gone.

Edit:Word going around the grapevine is that a certain Murder City Machine Gun isn't happy with TNA, not only that, but he's still participating in the BOLA tourney even though TNA wrestlers aren't allowed to wrestle for PWG.... So my dark horse for Aries' partner is Detroit's own, Alex Shelley!!

Im pretty sure they'll team him up with Delirious or maybe Mike Quackenbush, I've seen Quackenbush's work in the ring and I have to say, he is a really great wrestler and I think he would make a great team with Aries.

That's going to be one hell of a match.

The Briscoes have been on such an amazing streak spanning multiple promotions this year and already have several MOTYCs this year. Hopefully we can see another amazing match out of them with Aries/Cross.

I was thinking Aries and Cross would make a awesome match, BUT Cross already had a match with Strong. Oh well, Sounds good to me.

Alex shelly, Homicide and Joe all need to go back to ROH


After looking at the Detroit show card, its shaping up pretty strong. Marifuij vs Generico, Briscoes vs Aries Cross, Hero vs Jacobs, Evans vs Romero, and the Fourway Steen vs Stevens vs Delirous vs Strong.

I'd like to see Delirous win this to take on Morishima, That would be bad ass? Any ideas who you think might win? Steen has a shot next month, so i doubt it will be him, and i dont think Stevens is ready for main event yet. So i'd say its between Strong and Delious. Roh did a nice job recovering after the danielson injury, and the show might even be better now.

Its either Delirious or Stevens. Strong already faced Morishima, and Steen has a match with him already. My money's on the lizard man, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Stevens win, or Strong get another crack at Takeshi.

Imagine if Strong wins the four-way and the title, then Cross and Aries win the tag titles. All of a sudden, the gang wars can take center stage as all the belts would be brought into the fray.

They already announced a new lineup, They replaced Danielson with Matt Cross. Matt Cross was facing Rodderick Strong, who is now in a fourway against Delirous, Kevin Steen and Erick Stevens, winners faces Morishima in the title match.
