I am thinking about getting a Mac. After countless problems with viruses, freezing, and the lastest Battery flashing disorder. I have been fed up with PC's and am thinking about getting a mac. Does anyone have any insight about Mac's? Do you own one?

Mac are virus-free (till today though). Its fast, reliable. I dont have it yet but im planning to get one later, as im having a Toshiba laptop (which is still new one, around a year old).

The only problem about Mac is that you dont have variaty of softwares on it but maybe after a year or so, there will be more softwares to be made.

(note: Mac usually have all its softwares that are available installed already when you buy, so you dont need to install any softwares and you wont be worried about updates and stuff).

no, I had a Mac for a month before I sold it to get my PC back. There are so many programs that you can't get with a mac, and if you do find them, chances are they will be more expensive than just getting it for the PC.

So, yea, stick to a PC imo

no, not ALL problems work with Mac's as they would for a Windows based pc mike.... we had this convo basically in the last week during lunch, and most likely this week

I have a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop... its a hunk of shit kinda. I hate how it gets virus's ALL the time, and I dont go on many websites, basically the only sites I go on are this one, facebook, ebay, aol, my schools site (lol mike no edline... pshhhh lol) and maybe 24wrestling and if anyone posts songs on here its either rapidshare/megaupload.... oh and mlb/nfl/nhl/nba

I dont know how in the HELL i could get a virus, but idk. Also, I lost my green signal bars on the bottom right of my taskbar. If anybody lost theirs too, can someone tell me how to get them back where they belong, I cant tell how my signal strength is anymore

One more thing, I have to manually power off my computer, I cant go to Start, then shut down, or even restart anymore. I have no flippin clue why this happened, if anyone has a way to fix the signal bars/shutdown-restart problem please tell me

But Mike, I still think PC's are better imo, I love my laptop, though for its issues, I still prefer it over a Mac anyday, and plus, Mac's are expensive, my laptop was expensive, but Macs do cost more, thats just how I see it

Again, if anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it... and rep x3 for it
