Are dreams just a look into another reality?

So, something on my mind lately is how sometimes I will dream about things, about my life. But it’s stuff slightly different. Like it’s me, but in another world. People who are dead might be alive or people alive are dead.

So it’s like, am I seeing another reality? Like am what I’m dreaming going on at that exact moment, but in some parallel universe? Because some of the dreams I’ve had had felt like it.

It's just epinephrine conjuring visions in your brain to keep you and your body docile in order to not move around as a firm of primitive protection and remaining camouflaged.

I'll get warned if I talk about some of the stuff I do in lucid dreams.

However, I usually just have fun nonsensical dreams that have no merit. If those were another reality, they wouldn't make any sense. Also as far as nightmares go, they're free horror movies but I normally know when I'm dreamin' and asleep so I already know nuthin' is gonna happen to me.
