So, Archie Andrews from the popular Archie comics was killed in the latest issue of "Life With Archie"..

Pretty intense for an Archie comic.. it started out with him reminiscing about his life and talking to Jughead about a fundraiser the whole town was attending later that night for a Senator who was raising money for victims of hate related crimes that had taken place recently.. particularly hate toward gays.. this Senator is gay and the killer was still on the loose and had threatened the Senator's life.. I cropped the remaining pages and will post them here for you all to see...

The issue, No. 36 in Life With Archie – which follows Archie and the rest of his gang later in life — is out July 16 and is the second to last of the entire series. The last issue will jump forward a year and focus on paying tribute to the character. Still, fans should be comforted to know that Archie will live on in other Archie Comics series.
