It seems like TNA has managed to do something that WWE either couldn't or didn't try hard enough to, which is making one of the Dudley Boyz (Feels odd to type that) into a useable and entertaining singles guy. When I first heard the name Bully Ray, my immediate reaction was, in true Miz fashion, "Really? REALLY?" Now, it's definitely grown on me. I dig his gear. I like the whole chain thing. I know that his persona is mostly made up of recycling old gimmicks and smashing them together, but it works for him. Sometimes you have to keep it simple, such as the concept of someone being a bully, and recycle old looks and signature weapons. They just so happened to slap those things on a guy who can work in the ring, and can out talk the majority of TNA's roster. It's very effective thus far in my opinion.

It's a credit to himself and TNA because i'm pretty sure everyone is pleased with how his singles run has turned out but to play the devils advocate, it's 2011 and one half of the Dudley Boyz is getting a nice singles push and is floating around the main event scene.

I actually am surprised he has been able to get it done on his own. Then again I knew of the two dudley's if one were to break out on his own it would be him as his personality has always been the one to shine through. Sad thing is however that TNA is able to make this work but they can't do the same with younger talent.

TNA is just tapping into a wrestler who always had the talent to have an entertaining character. I think WWE missed the boat completely now because this should have happened in 2001 or maybe a bit after that. His only run in as a single competitor was really just a useless face run in the overcrowded Hardcore division. This run is also showing everything that Bully Ray stated was true last year seeing how awful Brother Devon has been. Also what I am mostly surprised about more is how good of a brawler he has developed into seeing as I always found him extremely lazy. Good for Bully Ray and good for TNA.
