The Wrestling Observer stated this week that there is good chance that Chris Sabin could be leaving TNA Wrestling in the near future, following Alex Shelley, Devon, Matt Morgan, Ric Flair and Velvet Sky. However, no additional details on his contractual status were given.

Reports first surfaced in June that Sabin could be leaving the promotion this year when his contract expired. His girlfriend, Velvet Sky, however, denied the claims. “People, Chris Sabin is NOT, I repeat, NOT leaving TNA! I’M getting lots of those questions. Please stop believing everything u read,” she tweeted then.

The wrestling standout is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery on his ACL in June.

Not a fan of Sabin, don't care much. I only wish Morgan would return.

Didn't he also just come back from the same injury? Or was that Shelley...

Sabin tore his ACL in 2011, came back, got hyped for an X Division singles push, then tore his ACL again in that Ultimate X match on Impact.

I think it was his opposite knee this time though. Just shit luck

Yeah that's how I thought it went. Wouldn't be surprised if both him and Impact are tired of each other now.

Wow Meltzer nobody saw it coming OMG!! :gusta:

I think it's the best thing for both sides to move on from each other right now honestly. Maybe somewhere down the line comeback should be cool.

Well he isn't being used anyways and got injured. Don't see him being much of an impact on Impact Wrestling, so I could see him leaving from the company soon I suppose.

I've only seen a handful of iMPACT episodes, and he hasn't been in any. Due to his injury, can't see it been a big loss given a look at their roster.
