Another short reign for Trick Williams, what was even the point?

So much for the "Era of Trick", both titles reigns didn't even last a hundred days. What was the point of dropping it after a short reign, winning it back, only to drop it again shortly after? Couldn't even make it to Stand And Deliver.

They took it off him the first time cause they wanted to put it back on him on the CW debut.

I thought they were going to wait til Stand and Deliver to take it off him this time but obviously that wasn’t the plan. Not everyone needs a 6/7/8 month reign as Champion. It’s not like it’s going to hurt Trick

Makes perfect sense if you were able to see logical progression. Oba Femi is the future.

Titles reigns don’t have to last forever, like CW said not everyone needs one and it won’t hurt Trick. I’m sure there’s still big plans for him coming soon.

I think most reigns should last at least 5 or 6 months top, champions should be tough to dethrone, they could've waited until Stand And Deliver to put it on Femi. In fact, I argue it would've been the better stage than a television special.
