Recently, ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness responded to Steve Corino and SCUM's "declaration of war" on Ring of Honor by announcing that multiple wrestlers who have never challenged Steen for his title will be getting title shots in the future.
He announced that on March 30 in Asheville, NC Mark Briscoe will be challenging Steen, and that on April 5th at Supercard of Honor VII Jay Briscoe will challenge the winner of the Steen/Mark Briscoe match.

- Nigel McGuinness has just announced yet another challenger for Kevin Steen's title. On May 4th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as a part of Border Wars 2013, former World TV Champion Adam Cole will be challenging Kevin Steen (or one of the Briscoes) for the ROH World Championship.

"Adam Cole has stood up for ROH through all of this business with SCUM," Nigel McGuinness said to ROHWrestling.com recently. "Even when they did their best to put him on the shelf in Cincinnati, Adam still dragged himself out to the ring to fight on ROH's behalf. He is the type of man who deserves the chance to be our World Champion, he's shown he has all the tools to do it in his reign as TV champion and when he took on Davey for the title last year. Corino can try to lie himself that Kevin Steen has beaten everyone, they may even believe that to be true, but there is no shortage of men in that locker room who are willing to stand up to SCUM. You fired the first shot of the war in Chicago sunshine, and when Adam or one of the Briscoes or BJ become the new World Champion I want you to remember that Steve..."

- If Kevin Steen makes it through his encounter with Adam Cole with his ROH World Title intact, then he only needs to make it through the Pittsburgh live event on May 11th to reach his anniversary of one year as champion.

Cole in ring of honour doesn't interest me tbh, Cole fucksucks in ROH

True that.

But I'll give a shot at that match though, just to compare it to their PWG match (just like Steen-Generico).

Border wars 2013 main event announced

Former ROH World Television Champion Adam Cole will challenge for the ROH World Title when Ring of Honor returns to Toronto May 4 at “Border Wars 2013.”

Nigel McGuinness announced a flurry of title matches at last weekend’s TV taping after Steve Corino said that ROH World Champion Kevin Steen had defeated everyone the company has to offer.

Cole has been one of the hottest wrestlers on the roster over the past year. He had an impressive performance at February’s “Honor vs Evil.” Despite succumbing to an F-Cinq, Cole showed a lot of heart throughout the Six-Man main event.

Cole is no stranger to World Title matches. He challenged then-champion Davey Richards for the title at “Rising Above 2012? last April. Cole could

Although the date is set for his next title opportunity, he does not yet know for certain who he will be challenging. Steen has at least two title defenses before “Border Wars 2013.”

Steen will defend the title against Mark Briscoe March 30 at “WAR” from Asheville, N.C.

The title will be defended once again one week later on iPPV at “Supercard of Honor VIII” when Jay Briscoe will challenge for the belt.

Cole will finally get his shot at the title once again at “Border Wars 2013? from Toronto May 4, but he will have to wait to find out who he will be challenging. No matter who it is, Cole has a great chance of becoming the new ROH World Champion.

Steen vs Cole again, let's all ready to say PWG did it better.

You gotta question what's happening though, I thought Adam was pissing off to Stamford to chill on NXT for a while. Or is it the Summer of Cole?
