TNA star Kurt Angle recently spoke out on his official Twitter page regarding his name, along with UFC star Shane Carwin, being made public by Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna Dobbins on August 13 as being recipients of steroids during the sentencing hearing of J. Michael Bennett, supervising pharmacist at Applied Pharmacy Services of Mobile, AL.

As reported earlier, Bennett was sentenced to four years in prison on conviction of participating in a nationwide conspiracy to sell anabolic steroids made in Mobile. He was convicted on five counts total, including drug distribution and distribution to a person under the age of 21. He is the first of five doctors convicted.

Angle wrote on Twitter, “Rumors by media keep coming up. I was under medical supervision for meds back in 2003-2005. I had no involvement in this Alabama case. Put it to rest and come up with new material to write about. You’re all hideous. I apologize for my stern comment, but I want to move on with my life and put the past behind me, mainly the mistakes I’ve made. That’s all.”

The Applied Pharmacy Services case was first made public back in 2007 by Sports Illustrated where Angle’s name was the most featured. Angle claimed he was prescribed steroids for various injuries and that he had no idea his doctor went to an illegal pharmacy to get the orders filled. Angle, who was listed as seeing Dr. David Wilbirt of Phoenix (Angle doesn’t live in Phoenix), received Trenbolone, a steroid that is only legal for usage on livestock and not on humans. He received the drugs from October 2004 through February 2005.

according to gerweck.net this is the case but if you go to KurtAngleTNA they're seems to be an error, can't find the comment's that he was so "Stern" about. Also cool to see he approves of Swagger using the ankle lock.

Ok so is KurtANGLETNA real or is Anglefoods1 his only Twitter?

This is worth talking about since it's the same case that has alleged Shane Carwin. Steroids in MMA are usually rare but with the heavyweight division going through a transformation addressing and combing through everything is a must which is wierd why Angle is brushing this off very easily. With no one really talking about it they'res no need to really search for the official steroids blah blah thread.

So by this point do you believe Kurt Angle? HE was just on a bad streak where he lost his wife, does this really seem farfetched? Do you believe this guy etc?

What kind of stupid question is that? Do I believe him? OF COURSE I believe him, he is our Olympic hero, a true, honest American athlete who swears on the honor of one of his three I's, integrity. This man has too much integrity to ever lie to us and I for one, would like to see this mad scientist, Michael Bennett, locked behind bars for trying to feed a one-of-a-kind champion, a true patriot, a man who won a gold medal (with a broken FREAKIN' neck) STEROIDS MADE FOR LIVESTOCK. You sick son of a bitch, I hope Kurt Angle finds you on the street and SNAPS YOUR ANKLE. Although, he wouldn't do that, why you ask? Well, because of another one of his three I's, intelligence, he is too wise and knowledgeable to put himself in such a negative spotlight and under criminal proceedings especially since our American hero will be returning to the WWE very shortly. Oh it's true, it's true.

Btw, where'd he say that he approves of Jack "scumbag" Swagger blatantly ripping his signature move?

Now by no means am I saying Kurt did or didn't use steroids, but hear me out. From my post about weight training, my first serious trainer was based out of the Pittsburgh area (Clinton, PA to be exact). Now Clinton isn't too far from Wexford where Kurt is from. Now, my first trainer competed in the NPC Pittsburgh Bodybuidling Championships 3 times. His second time he won his weight class but lost the overall championship to.....Eric Angle. Yes, that Eric Angle that's Kurt's brother. In fact, Eric competed as a Super Heavyweight, while my trainer competed as a Heavyweight. Let me assure you right now, there is no shortage of steroid usage in this contest. In fact, Pittsburgh is the amateur bodybuidling capital of the United States. Anabolic/Androgenic steroids are everywhere in the gyms around the Pittsburgh area. In fact, I believe Eric competed again in the Pittsburgh in either 2009 or 2010. I'll have to go to getbig.com to find out for sure. But I can assure you that Kurt has had access to them fairly easily. Again, Im not saying he did, and Im not saying he didn't.

It also doesn't surprise me that MMA is coming to the forefront of steroid usage. I had read an interview with Nick Diaz and he was posed the question about how many fighters in percentage are using or have used AAS. His answer was "better than 50%". Now it is Nick Diaz who's a lightningrod for controversy, but on the other hand, I've never known the guy to BS. So, until all the info comes out, I'll have to straddle the line, but don't be surprised if Kurt ever tests positive.

Pretty sure he's admitted he's taken em for his neck and he just admitted he did them again in that interview. It was fairly obvious anyways in 2005 when he was fucking massive, ripped, and veined out. Seriously, go watch his classic match with Shawn Michaels, he looks like he could break HBGay in half.

I believe you bro. I just would never be surprised if he's done them. After I seen Eric at the 2000 NPC Pittsburgh where he won the whole show. It was pretty cool in 2002 because I got to meet both Eric and Kurt at Amerifit. That was Kurt's main gym for most of his career. It's located in the Greentree district. My trainer took me into another section of the gym and there's Eric and Kurt doing barbell shrugs.

Would have been nice, but Eric was actually prepping for a show. He was pretty pissed that Andy (my trainer) even interrupted. All I could say was "you're Kurt Angle, you're Kurt Angle....".

Even if he did use steroids, I really don't see the big deal about an entertainer using steroids. It wouldn't change my opinion of him either way.

Kurt did admit that he used steriods for his neck. How many times has broke his freaking neck? But as for now, no way do I think he's taking them.

You lucky bastard.

IN YOUR HEAD! HULKAMANIACS!
Not saying anything but the original reason he got fired from WWE was because he was addicted to pain killers and said WWE wouldn't let him rehab... So it sounds like even if he did hes trying to better himself...
