Suppose this is the only problem with the TNA way of doing things, with everyone being involved in a separate storyline. You can't use a lot of guys in this spot (Anderson, Storm, Joe, etc) because they're busy in other feuds. Still, surely they could have had Austin Aries in this spot to keep Angle healthy, right?

really just came in here to lol @ Aids' signature again.
Aries has to carry the X Division.

If Benoit was in TNA he'll probably die first before thinking about suicide... man, they're killing our olympic hero w/ a broken freakin neck... he should've not just flip out, he should've flip them the bird... that was some unprofessional booking

As far I can understand, Angle is pissed at Gaburick because of storyline timing issue, not health because Angle's been working hurt through a lot of TNA shows before.

He won by a rollup after Spud became ref.

True, and gained zero off of it. And that's a terrible booking by TNA.

It seems to me like Stop thinks EC3 beat Sting semi-cleanly or cleanly and gained nothing, like EC3 has no potential etc... Just how I understood his post and it bothered me a bit.

WEll I wouldn't be surprised TNA would do this, since Kurt seems to have never cared about working injured before. Part of it rests on that, still. TNA Shouldn't really make him work injured, they should be the ones pushing to stop it. That's poor on their part really.

They only gave EC3 the win to try and sell it off as something important when in reality he really didn't gain or lose anything, just pretty much sat there and got the win while the whole storyline plays out.

So the Brisco going over Angle comparison is valid, both wins meant dick.

Nero, my point with Aries was just about roster depth, TNA needs it. It looks like Angle's just holding this main-event spot and keeping it warm for Roode to turn, which sounds good to me. Now that his feud with Sabin is over he's one of the few faces without a feud. What better way to elevate the X-Title than to have Aries work in the main-event storyline while Angle gets healthy because of mutual respect or some other flimsy excuse? Aries belongs there. In the X-Division I'd rather see DJ Zema feud with Manik over the #1 Contendership or something like that.

EDIT: Actually EC3 going over Sting did do something productive, it helped get heat on Dixie which in turn got MVP over. Take from that what you will.

- The reports that Kurt Angle blew up at John Gaburick on a recent UK tour have been exaggerated (of course). One person said it was "hardly an argument", just Angle expressing his confusion about the booking. Angle was still said to be "banged up pretty bad" on the tour and it could be seen when he walked. He seemed to be in a lot of pain, but you'd never know it based on his in-ring performance.
