Discuss the book & movie here plz.

I'm currently 1/4th of the way through the book & I've seen about half the movie. The book is so much better. The movie leaves way too many things out. Its ridiculous. Anyone seen, and read both?

How do the people who have just seen the movie feel about it?

How about those who have read the book?

Haven't read the book, or seen the movie. Preview looks pretty good though. I heard it hasn't got great reviews, but I'll probably see it anyway.

I've read both of his books and Dan Brown is a horrible writer. His books are hackneyed, cliched and read like they were written by a 14 year old who's sole design was to shock people and not actually tell a good story.

IMO though Angels & Demons was the worst of the two strictly for the deus ex machina style ending.

I thought Angels & Demons was really good. I enjoyed the book. It stars off a bit slow and then picks up momentum as it goes along. Loved the ending.

I (also the author of the thread) haven't reached the ending of the book. So far they are starting the Path of the Enlightened, and I just haven't been in the mood to read since. Is it going to pick up more? And if you've read the book don't waste your money on the movie. As I said in the opening post, the first 100 pages of the book own the first half of the movie.
