Its devoid of effects and the background should be better lit and flowing with the render more. Stuff like the High Pass filter, gradient maps, brightness contrast, etc.

There's just nothing really going on in it.

Agreed just needs something going for it as this is a pretty safe sig. It's not bad I like the text you used and think you got the right pics just need an actual background.
