Will I dunno what to say, but I think people are just trying to put the blame on Silva but they forgot that the fight is actually between two fighters!

This video elaborates that Dana White was not pleased with the main event and here he said that he will give Silva a new challenge by letting him face the 205lb'ers (which later we knew that it would be against Forrest Griffin).

Anyway, the fans started boo'ing Silva and the media and the reporters are also criticizing him more than they should imo.
Silva can pull an entertaining performance whenever the opponent actually starts to unleash against him. Opponents like the last guy who are just Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and have like zero talent in their standing then that was the result infront of us.

I think Dana now understood that if he wants to maintain the selling out of tickets and ratings, then he had to change the route for Silva.

But does that mean that the middleweight class will not have a defending match for it for a long term?
Rich Franklin switched to the LW and now Silva is going to compete there just for the sake of the fans. But the MW division is going to lack some big names.
IMO, the winner from Bisping vs Henderson should face Silva for the title and anyone who is a BJJ should be kept away from the MW title picture until Silva loses that title imo (Demian Maia is the one im talking about).

I agree. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters should not go anywhere near Silva. That fight was pretty lame and I understand where Dana and the fans would be pissed. They expect alot out of Silva, but sometimes it's hard to live up to how much the people hype Silva. He is still the best pound for pound fighter in the world despite what people think of him.
