I actually lost interest in Idol after Chris Daughtry got voted off years ago(my mom still watches it faithfully though). Of course Idol is always up in everyone's face via media. To me as the years went on the Idols just get more pathetic with each season. Daughtry ended up doing MILES better than that season's winner Taylor Hicks. Most of the Idol winners you never hear from much anymore except Clarkson, and Underwood. In many cases runners' up did better like Clay, and Daughtry. But I really feel that at this point the interesting factor has really run it's course. Have you had enough Idol?

American Idol has never been interesting, just another game show to capture americas attention. Just like every other Reality/game show of the last 20 years.
