Recently, the film American Sniper shed light on an American hero serving in the Iraq war. As many TNA fans are aware, the name Gunner comes from the TNA Superstar's own history in the Iraq war - where he served as a machine gunner in the Marines. So, in theory, it should come as no surprise that Gunner, being an American hero, joined forces with another American hero - Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle - for this week's Lethal Lockdown match.

However, as we saw on this past Friday's show, the pairing started off quite confrontational, with Angle even delivering a slap to Gunner in the locker room. This morning, IMPACTWrestling.com caught up with Gunner by phone in order to get his thoughts on what happened with Angle, hear about his motivations and what to expect in Lethal Lockdown this Friday on IMPACT!
