Alleged New Vince McMahon edict

Vince McMahon reportedly issued a new edict for matches recently.

This week’s RAW saw Jeff Hardy defeat Cedric Alexander in singles action, with the stipulation that Hardy would retire if he lost. The stipulation was added to the match right before it happened, and the match was made right after Hardy’s win over John Morrison. Word now is that this was related to a new edict from Vince, according to Ringside News.

It was noted that all of the makeshift angles on RAW were constructed for a reason as Vince has been “beating up the writers and producers” over suggestions for “cold matches.”

A new unwritten edict in WWE reportedly says there will be no more “cold matches” produced. WWE officials are looking for stories and not just wrestling matches for the sake of having a match.

A reason for booking matches...what a novel concept.

This is just saying no more of those cold matches bc they suck whether the story is told in the ring well or not

But they can double suck by having no angle behind it and a shit story told in the ring, usually too short of a match to be that bad tho. Just meaningless mostly

I know when I was making the threads there many weeks Raw did not have a preview by start time and when they did, might only be two hours before.

If nothing is announced on the prior Raw, usually a commercial airs during SmackDown with a couple matches or segments announced and that's probs all you get on the preview whenever it's finally made the day of lol sometimes they add more to the preview tho
