From what I've heard from people who actually watched MLW, they teamed her up with Holliday as a heel couple but she isn't a heel and they don't have chemistry so it sucked. Then Holliday got his diagnosis and then she was just an ill-fitting heel without a direction, so she probably wanted out

I thought the exact opposite lol i loved the long angle before the swerve and the heel pairing was amazing, was my favorite thing going in MLW until Holliday had to take time off. After that she wasn't really heelish anymore which is understanding but it was weird bc she couldn't just go back to being an interviewer even though they tried
