Right after this, Rivera mentioned on The MMA Hour that he might be fighting Constantinos Philippou, who is currently scheduled to face Rafael Natal at the event. However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. All we know right now is that UFC 133 has suffered yet another injury, and it seems like a Rivera/Sakara fight is never going to happen. The two were scheduled to meet at UFC 118, but Rivera withdrew because of an injury. It was rescheduled for UFC 122, but Sakara bowed out with a flu-like illness right before the weigh-ins.
Bloody Elbow will keep you updated on any official replacement that is inserted into a fight with Rivera.
