- As noted before, AJ Styles is expected to be out of action for up to six weeks with his new hip injury. If Styles can't heal the injury, he may have to have surgery that will put him out of action 4-6 months.

The storyline reason from last night's Genesis about Styles being hurt while helping his son, who flipped his four-wheeler, is apparently the real cause of Styles' injury, according to sources.
Kinda funny that ended up being the legit reason, but not so funny that it could possibly put him out for 4-6 months if he don't heal.

This really sucks because the angle that AJ was involved with Bischoff, Fourtune, and Immortal, was amazing. Hopefully AJ can be okay to at least have one match a month or something. I'd like to see him at least participate at Against All Odds. Really sucks that he's injured though.

To me this is a perfect chance to have him go back face and be the top face. I'm thinking after the way Eric has been tearing him down that will be what they go with.

Do you prefer AJ as a face or heel? I honestly prefer the guy as a heel, and even as a heel, they can continue with the tension between himself and Eric Bischoff, and that makes for very entertaining T.V.

As bland as he can be as a face I just think the guy is meant to be a face. If they made an effort to make him not so bland as a face then that would be for the better. But him as a heel just has never felt natural to me.

Nothing about TNA is amazing, other then MCMG vs beer Money. TNA could've used AJ though, they were gonna give him the face turn which he desperately needs right now.

He's never been that bad as a face, it's just TNA haters attacking the poster boy just like WWE haters do. AJ was pretty decent, he didn't need a great deal of character to appeal to the casual fans. He has the wrestling ability after to cater to the smark fans, he was always fine and being a nerdy kind of face character worked for him.

Don't you think it's pretty amazing how they have Vince Russo as their creative head and instead of dying like WCW did and the mid-card section of the Attitude Era did before, Jeff Jarrett and everyone else with stroke have actually succeeded this far?

Don't you think it's pretty amazing how instead of watching a wrestling show to see a continuation of a heel turn tease, I am watching it because every person on the roster is of SOME kind of meaning and is involved in SOME kind of storyline?

Don't you think it's amazing that every title is defended and being held by serious characters, all the while the WWE, a billion dollar Global company, that is publicly traded, has a comedy jobber holding a tag team title with another comedy jobber who could just as easily be a main eventer but has been held down for too long to be of any significance?

I rest my case. :)
