Each year, Stu Saks and the staff at Pro Wrestling Illustrated compile the annual "PWI 500" rankings, which has become a popular tradition for wrestling fans everywhere!

TNA Wrestling is happy to announce that "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles has earned the #1 Ranking in the 20th annual edition for 2010!

Check out the cover below!

Yes. It's the first time any TNA wrestler has been number one.

Man I miss being a kid and having 2 bucks to buy those PWI mags. They had like 5 different titles, like Inside Pro Wrestling, The Wrestler and Wrestle American. I preferred them to WWE magazine, despite them being black and white, because they felt and read like legit publications and they exposed to me ECW for the first time and a whole bunch of other stuff that was never on the tube in the 90's. Oh man, the good old day's of columns like "Kevin Nash has a few %#%$^ words for the Editior" and "Juventud Guerrerra traveled all the way to Philly to "Unmask Mysterio"".

I remember reading PWI all the time as a kid lol. I look at them now and they are nothing like I remember.

Either way, congrats to AJ on being #1, I may get some criticism for this but, he deserves it. He is simply imo the glue that has kept TNA together, you need someone to come up big? Look no further than Mr. Styles.

Vince and I have asked AJ to spend some time with us on the bearskin rug many times, but he simply refuses. I don't know why he would want to stay in a federation owned by a WOMAN. Disgusting.

We aren't as well accepted in the Southern United States as we are out west, up in New York, or in my home of Quebec.
