AEW Rampage results:

• Darby Allin defeated Swerve Strickland to qualify for the men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
• Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan, and Red Velvet defeated Skye Blue, Willow Nightingale, and Trish Adora. Cargill pinned Adora.
• Keith Lee defeated Colten Gunn
• The confrontation between Danhausen and Hook ended up having Mark Sterling and Tony Nese coming out. Hook ran Nese off and refused Danhausen’s attempt at friendship.
• Samoa Joe defeated Trent Beretta by TKO to retain the ROH Television Championship.

AEW will tape matches for AEW Dark this weekend in Orlando, then return to Baltimore at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena for Dynamite and Rampage.

My guess is to build him up in AEW considering I don't think he is signed with them, though I can be wrong.

Swerve? Hes signed, which is why its weird hes lost 2 or 3 matches already. I was expecting q big push. Im also admitedly annoyed w darby being OP at the moment as im mad he beat andrade

Again, didn't know for sure if he was. Mean, I don't know and I do get being annoyed with Darby, but I personally never cared for him even in the indies so yeah being as OP as he is annoys me a lot more than it should. And I agree with you, Swerve was hot in WWE and hot in the indies so I did figure AEW would strike while the fire is hot, but who knows.
