AEW Rampage and Dark: Elevation *SPOILERS* taped 12/14/22

Here are results from Wednesday's AEW Rampage and Dark: Elevation tapings from Garland, Texas.

AEW Dark Elevation:

• Marina Shafir defeated Jasmin Allure
• Emi Sakura and The Bunny defeated GiGi Rey and Ladybird Monroe
• Eddie Kingston and Ortiz defeated Hagane Shino and Steven Andrews
• Athena defeated Vertvixen to retain the ROH Women's Championship. Athena continued to attack Vertvixen after the match.
• Matt Hardy, Ethan Page, Isiah Kassidy, Konosuke Takeshita, and Top Flight defeated The Wingmen and The Trustbusters. Page didn't get into the ring until he won the match for his team with a twist of fate.
• Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta defeated The Workhorsemen

AEW Rampage:

• Jon Moxley defeated Sammy Guevara. After the match, Hangman Page came out as he and Jon Moxley had another brawl. Page ended up giving a security guard a buckshot lariat.
• FTR cut a promo saying The Gunns ruined their night at Final Battle, and would take them out on Wednesday.
• Britt Baker defeated Skye Blue via lockjaw. Baker refused to let go of the hold after the match and continued to apply the lockjaw until Hikaru Shida made the save, running her and Rebel off with a kendo stick. She stared down Jamie Hayter.
• Wardlow defeated Exodus Prime. After the match, Wardlow called out Samoa Joe. Joe said he wouldn’t fight Wardlow, but he would in Colorado on December 28 for the TNT Championship.
• Orange Cassidy, Dustin Rhodes, and Best Friends defeated Kip Sabian, Trent Seven, The Butcher, and The Blade.

Chris what were the standouts

The first half of Rampage was fucking insane, Moxley/Sammy was match of the entire night for me and then the FTR promo was fucking amazing

Also one thing not noted here is that after the main event, Kip and Butcher/Blade turned on Trent Seven and the faces kinda forgave him after, he was with them for Dustin's post-show promo.

Oh and during a lot of the main event it was Trent Barretta vs Trent Seven and the crowd was chanting "Trent" for each shot

The first two women's matches were short and just kinda there for Elevation but the other 4 were all really fun, especially the Ethan Page antics
