AEW is doing a 5 week residency over the Summer leading to AEW All In. 5 weeks of Colision and ROH Death Before Dishonor. They'll be held in ESports Stadium Arlington, which is an ESports venue with a 2500 person capacity.

I love every single bit of this news. Playing a smaller venue, a residency outside of COVID lockdown in Jacksonville, playing different venues.

I can't wait to see how this works out for them but I think it'll be a great success and I hope they consider doing the same thing elsewhere leading to other big PPVs.

Yeah they def are. I think that's been reported officially but would have been crazy if they weren't anyway. Did some digging and it's basically a lower cost experiment the city is trying to do to bring in niche fanbases to the area, and the ticket prices most likely will reflect that strategy sadly but we'll see since nothing is finalized and demand obviously decides all

Just checked presale and pleasantly surprised to see cheap tickets, I assume that means the city is paying them decent bc I was thinking with the smaller venue, tickets would be expensive.

Highest are only $55 and cheaper ones further back. Front row is already gone for Death Before Dishonor which is all I wanted to buy in advance so I'll probably just wait and see what I can get closer to the show. If it sells out before then good for them, I'll be alright lol

AEW is paying a 50% discounted rate of $232,000 to the Arlington Expo Center and Esports Venues, LLC to use the Esports Stadium for the “Path to All In” series of events in July and August, according to records obtained by Wrestlenomics via public records request.

A term sheet seems to suggest the local tourism organization might grant AEW money or incentives to offset those costs.

More ROH dates seem likely according to that article too, probably some TV tapings during the week instead of just with Collision but maybe that's dependent on turnout of the shows on sale now

having like 1-5 regions where they tape blocks might be a good way to keep continuity, keep taping cheap and create a local fanbase for roh like it used to have in other areas of US. Texas being a hotbed for ROH could be cool. Florida is over saturated
