Today Five Years Ago, AEW was announced. Since then they’ve had some pretty great moments(and some not so great). Some have been wild, some have been funny, some have been coke head levels of crazy. But through it all, AEW has provided us with sone great shows. So what are some of your favorite moments, matches, and PPVs. What are some debuts that you like? Let’s sound off.
Honestly, despite how I feel about him now, CM Punk’s debut is definitely something I think of. Returning to pro wrestling, after so so long was awesome. You can’t take that away from him.
Also the debuts of people like Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and Adam Copeland. The rise of stars like Julia Hart, Skye Blue, The Gunn Club, and The Acclaimed. All great stuff to see in those five years. MJF becoming the star he was meant to be, All In at Wembley! That was just an amazing show.
A huge shoutout to Orange Cassidy, who’s character development has been amazing. From a guy who seemed to give as little as possible, to a guy just handing out title shots like it’s candy on Halloween.
AEW given me loads of entertainment, and I’m proud to be a Day 1 AEW Guy, here’s to many more years of entertainment and amazing wrestling.
