IT'S TOO MANY FACTIONS THIS IS WHY THE COMPANY WILL BE BANKRUPT BY SEPTEMBER!

But for real it's crazy how well they've done it, everyone keeps calling for "faction wars" and we're getting them but it's so unforced compared to previous times in wrestling. I enjoy a ton of loose factions/alliances bc that's just realistic, then you can have your real tight groups like Inner Circle and Pinnacle as well.

But like compared to ROH who has 4 or so factions rn, way less than AEW obviously but in their case it feels like they're saying "we want factions" and making them instead of how AEW seems to be like "hey this alliance makes sense to keep up on screen, maybe we should make a faction"

Good points. I agree that they've managed to successfully bring about each group organically as possible. It's remarkable to a degree. Even adding Kris last night was hinted through BTE. Also why added the potential alliances/assocates stuff, because it does feel like it can really change at any time, depending what the story goes like. For sure thats a lot of factions, but the nice part is, as well, some of them a spread through the lower shows, so we likely wont even have a show were theres no singles match or anything silly like that

I think at first when they really started going hard with them last year, Team Taz, Nightmare Family, etc. popping up it felt a bit forced, but Dark and BTE honestly help keep a lot of the continuity going when you can't fit everyone in on Dynamite and that helped a lot.

Hell with a bit of digging, I do remember as well that Ogogo would specifically talk about QT MARSH- ALL as he says it, all the time on dark, hyping him up. hyping up Comorodo. Pretty clever subtle shit right there !
