Sandra Gray, a seamstress for various wrestling promotions including AEW, is retiring.
Fightful Select reported on Wednesday that Gray is finishing up with AEW “imminently”. She had been part of the company since its launch in 2019.
Gray started work as a seamstress starting in WCW back in the mid 90s, first doing work for Johnny B. Badd (Marc Mero). When the company went out of business in 2001, she joined WWE until leaving the company in 2015. She also appeared on several episodes of WWE’s reality series Total Divas.
When AEW launched in 2019, Brandi Rhodes was responsible for bringing in Gray. According to Fightful Select’s report, she will continue to make Cody Rhodes’ attire in WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter reported that Dustin Rhodes appeared before the start of Dynamite and led the crowd in celebrating Gray, who appeared on stage. Tony Khan and other members of the roster and staff came out and presented her with flowers.
