AEW among top streamed live sports on Max

I mean no shit lol we need more data than that. But they don't have a lot of sports. I assume NBA is top, I think they have random soccer and golf too so AEW would be above that I imagine

Yeah I was trying to think besides the NBA what else they even got. I believe NASCAR will have a few races on it late in the year, but it’s not happened yet so that’s not part of the data until then. Have they had any baseball?

It's gard to gage anything off that. Even wk2 Netflix numbers are hard to gage. I've heard ppl say bad n other decent. The good news w aew is tv ratings stabilized despite the live stream so the theory tk was pushing it just be expanding households is so far true

That’s kinda obvious. I watched the playoffs on NBA playoffs on Max last year but outside of that I wasn’t watching sports on there and I don’t think anyone else really is.

During last season I want to say yes but I doubt that would be counted in any numbers to compare AEW to yet.

From what I can see they advertise it shows limited games of NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAA March madness (this will be huge), US Soccer (the national team), cycling and college football, which since it's listed last I assume isn't major teams

Yeah either ratings are up and no one is watching on Max or the ratings are up even more than they seem bc people are watching on Max. You can't really spin not dropping viewers when you open up a streaming option as a bad thing unless you're just adamant no one is touching Max which is funny bc anecdotally we all switched

Yeah. I’ve watched every thing on Max since, when I could be watching on Dish if I wanted to. I just don’t mainly cause the picture looks nicer lmao.

Fwiw I've heard speculation the NBA numbers for the app were disappointing only bc no one has been touting the viewership like they would if it was doing good, there's been like nothing from Max or the NBA talking about how many people are watching.

So they might actually be above the NBA just bc wrestling fans tend to be so niche and wanting to seek out this stuff
