AEW All In Media Scrum Notes

Tony Khan and other AEW stars spoke to the media following All In.

Hangman Page, Athena, Toni Storm, Kazuchika Okada, Don Callis, and Dustin Rhodes all took questions following Saturday’s pay-per-view in Texas. Here are the highlights:

Tony Khan
• Right as the press conference started, Khan noted that this was the biggest attendance they’ve had in North America and early PPV numbers are bigger than they’ve ever had.

• As far as attendance, Khan noted it was “close to 30,000” with walk-up.

• Khan said he felt this was one of the best AEW PPVs they’ve put out. He put over both Hangman Page and Jon Moxley, saying he felt Moxley made AEW better as champion in 2025.

• Said that as far as last night there was plans for Adam Cole to wrestle and was looking forward to Cole vs. Fletcher tonight. Coming out of Collision, Cole talked to Tony Khan and somewhere between late last night and this morning they talked again, Cole said he wasn’t feeling well, and it was decided to give Cole time off. He said they made exceptional lemonade out of lemons.

• He hopes to go back to Arena Mexico soon, calling it the cathedral of pro wrestling. When asked about possible shows in Chile or Puerto Rico, Khan said he’s always looking into going to new territories.

• Khan said that between the TBS and HBO Max viewership of Grand Slam Mexico, it was one of the biggest viewerships they’ve had in a long time.

• Bandido vs. Konosuke Takeshita from ROH Supercard of Honor on Friday was “just fantastic.” He hopes that Red Velvet won’t be gone too long.

• When asked about Women’s Tag Team titles, Khan said that if there were brackets he would of had to change them in the last few weeks due to injuries, naming Jamie Hayter as an example. Says eventually it’s something he’s interested in.

• He also said that one of his focuses in 2025 was rebuilding the men’s tag team divison, praising the Young Bucks/Ospreay & Swerve match.

• When asked how the Casino Gauntlet match winners will get their title matches, Khan said it will be something he clarifies on television.

Hangman Page
• An emotional Page says it’s been an incredible journey for him professionally and personally for the last six years. It’s never something he would have imagined was possible.

• When asked if today’s win feels like a vindication of his first title reign, Page said when he won it for the first time, his goal was to just win. Now he understands what it means to actually hold the title.

• He stayed mostly in character in talking about his win at All In. When it came to Swerve, he questioned what Swerve’s motives were, but ultimately chose to make his own life better. He may never know why Swerve did it, but he felt good to let go of the past and be excited about the future.

Athena
• With her win at All In, Athena said she is forever, she has done it time and time again and now that she’s in AEW, that’s not going to change and will continue to show she’s the best wrestler in the entire world.

• When someone asked if her win was more impressive than someone having their retirement match in Atlanta tonight, hinting at Goldberg, Athena simply asked “who?” before saying she was only focused on herself and nobody else.

• When asked about her work with Metroplex Wrestling, Athena said she bought it years ago and is planning on running weekly shows, doing that on top of her in-ring career. She said she is providing a platform where women can learn in the state of Texas. First show is August 9, with more information found here.

Toni Storm read a letter and after taking a few questions in character, grabbed Renee Paquette and walked off the stage.

Kazuchika Okada w/Don Callis
• Callis said this would be remembered as the day Kenny Omega was put down for good. Okada mockingly told Omega to get well soon.

• Tony Khan said getting the match footage and putting together the video highlights together for this match was a great moment for him and the match was ‘absolutely fantastic.’

• When asked if Okada would defend the new title in Mexico or Japan, Callis said he considers himself a global citizen.

• Khan also said that tonight’s match was not under Continental rules as it was a special occasion to unify the titles, but now that the title is unified, all matches for the Unified title going forward would be under Continental rules. Callis said that he thought it was a great idea.

Dustin Rhodes
• He said it was a very emotional night for everyone, and it was a sad situation about Adam Cole. He stepped up and is happy to do so. He called himself “Dustin Three Belts.”

• Still shocked, it feels incredible to finally get his hand on the TNT Championship and it means a lot to him.

• Regarding the Texas Outlaws name, his nephews Wayne and Wyatt want to be known as The Rhodes Brothers, so he is holding on to Texas Outlaws just in case.

• Says Saturday’s win was in the top 5 or top 7 moments of his career.
