Road to Final Battle - ACH vs Bobby Fish
At first glance, ACH and Bobby Fish do not appear to have a lot in common. But, the two Ring of Honor stars are tied together by more than coincidence and happenstance. Both ACH and Fish were born in raised in the capital cities of two of the most important states in the Union; ACH deep in the heart of Austin, Texas and Fish in cold, rough Albany, New York. Both competitors became official members of the ROH roster in 2013 after a series of Proving Ground matches in 2012. And now both have emerged as top contenders for singles gold in Ring of Honor and are set to clash on December 5 in Ft. Lauderdale!

ACH and Fish are no strangers to one another. As both were looking to make their marks in ROH, Fish struck ROH gold with reDRagon and locked horns with ACH’s Adrenaline Rush tag team on several occasions. Last year, Fish and O’Reilly successfully defended their ROH tag team championships in a four-way, Tag Team Turmoil match that also featured the team of ACH and Matt Sydal. And just this past June, Fish got the best of ACH in New York in their first one-on-one match since 2013.

With both men at the tops of their respective games, it is tough to declare a true favorite. ACH is hot off the heels of winning a huge Best of Five series against partner Sydal and recently won a huge Four Corners Survival Match against Moose and former ROH World Champions Adam Cole and Michael Elgin in Lockport, NY. Fish and reDRagon partner Kyle O’Reilly finished the summer by winning the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships for a second time against the Young Bucks at the 25th G1 Climax in Tokyo, Japan while Fish took ROH World Champion Jay Lethal to the limit at All-Star Extravaganza in San Antonio, TX.

In what is their third singles encounter in Ring of Honor, ACH and Fish will do battle with perhaps the most at stake that there has ever been for the pair. With both firmly entrenched in the upper echelon of ROH, wins and losses are now of premium value and could go a long way in determining future title opportunities.

For ACH, one of the fastest-rising professional wrestlers in the world, a win over Fish immediately cements his position as a top contender for either Roderick Strong’s World Television Championship or Jay Lethal’s World Championship. For Fish, already the number one contender to Strong’s World Television Championship heading into Final Battle, a win over ACH would give him the momentum grapplers desperately desire heading into championship opportunities.
Can ACH cap off his career-defining 2015 with a win over Fish or will Fish find a way to ground the aerial star and head into Final Battle 2015 with the championship winds at his back against Roderick Strong? The only way to find out is to watch these two stars duke it out in Ft. Lauderdale!
